“I love math and I want to help people, so I’m exploring financial planning and advising organizations where I can learn more about this field.”
Healy Group Intern Vince Shah is pursuing a major in Applied Math with a minor in Accounting at the University of Notre Dame.
The rising senior has a younger sister who is a freshman at Notre Dame. Vince’s parents are both physicians. “I thought about pursuing a career in medicine, but I didn’t like biology and chemistry.”
When Vince is not studying, he enjoys club hockey and golfing with his friends at Notre Dame’s Burke Golf Course or Juday Creek Golf Course.
Prior to his internship at Healy Group, Vince also interned at another local financial planning and advising organization. At Healy Group, he’s looking forward to learning more about financial planning and risk management, in addition to sitting in on financial planning and insurance advisor client meetings, Vince will study a variety of financial plans and review them with Healy Group advisors. He’s also helping the organization with an IT project.
